A T-Shirt Quilt is a wonderful way to share and preserve life memories of an individual.  Who doesn't have a pile of shirts that they do not want to get rid of, but don't really know what to do with them.

Snips of Thread holds clinics twice a year (March and September) in how to make a T-Shirt Quilt. Linda is the instructor for these clinics. She has made approximately seventy-five T-Shirt Quilts within the last 15 years.  These clinics are designed to help those folks with basic sewing skills to take a pile of t-shirts and create a memory quilt that will last for many generations.

These clinics consist of a general information session (PLEASE do not do any thing such as purchase the wrong interfacing or cut t-shirts apart before attending this session).  The second session is geared towards creating the design of your quilt, making sure you have a plan in hand that will lead you through the work needed at home to finalize your blocks and sew your quilt top together. Session two is done in smaller groups so you will receive more individualized attention. Time and attendance for Session II will be determined at Session I.

Watch the calendar for additional information on these clinics.
